Prolite, is a way of building ski boots that turns traditional thinking on its head.
- Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite.
- It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then it builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed
- this makes them lighter, more sensitive, more streamlined and more customizable.
True Flex PU, an Atomic exclusive shell material that means the flex and feel your boots remains constant in a variety of temperatures
- Your boots will not stiffen up when it gets cold or become softer in warmer conditions
Power Shift, the forward lean can be adjusted to 13° or 15° or 17° simply by moving the power control up and down
You can also alter the flex index by +/- 10 flex points by adding or removing a screw. For a completely personalized set-up.

Have your feet measured by a Ski Boot Fitter at BAC
In general people should not select a boot with a last width that is narrower than their foot.
The closer the last width is to their measured foot width, the snugger and tighter the boot will feel (more performance but less comfort, less warmth).
This means that people who have a medium width foot can either ski in a 98mm lasted boot or a 100mm lasted boot depending on what their performance vs comfort expectations are
In general, going too tight causes problems in regards to warmth and comfort.
Going too wide causes problems of lack of control and potential discomfort due to the foot moving around inside the boot
Ultimately, length and width are only two components of how a boot should fit
Other points to consider are for example instep height, heel hold, the fit around the calf, and general impressions of comfort and foot hold
