Breathable, adaptable, and resilient, the Xenair Alpine Jacket is filled with PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Active+ to keep you warm and comfortable throughout a range of pursuits in changeable winter weather
The synthetic insulation is fast-drying in damp conditions, and body-mapped to effectively regulate your temperature and retain heat when you’re static
The result is a jacket which is perfect for layering up on a chilly belay ledge yet highly breathable during high-energy, stop-start activities
The Xenair Alpine is prepared for any kind of ascent, with a two-way zip so you can wear it with a harness, and a helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened peak to shield your face from the elements
The hook and loop adjustable cuffs are compatible with gloves and help seal out spindrift
When you’re spending long periods with your arms overhead, the sleeves are articulated to prevent the jacket riding up, and the convenient hand and chest pockets are positioned for easy access mid-climb.
Built with Pertex® Quantum Air fabric to balance breathability and weather protection and finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR, the Xenair Alpine Jacket thrives in winter conditions, whether you’re pushing for the summit or taking shelter at the top.

Quantum Air, is engineered with increased air permeability to provide a balance between wind resistance and breathability
This balance of air permeability and wind resistance means Pertex® Quantum Air fabrics are perfectly suited to intense mountain pursuits.
A durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.
- Higher air permeability
- Increased breathability
- Weather protection for intense activity
PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active+ is a breathable insulation which contains 55% post-consumer recycled material
This innovation uses a special fibre structure, allowing clothing designers to use highly breathable linings and outer fabrics for better moisture management and comfort, without compromising on thermal performance
Millions of air chambers in the microfibre trap body heat to provide superior warmth in cold weather conditions
The permanently water-repellent finish is designed to ensure perfect warmth even when wet
The extremely soft and lightweight insulation is highly compressible, fitting neatly into backpacks, ready for any activity

Body Mapping Technology
Think of your body like a mountain landscape
Different zones have varying temperatures
Moisture accumulates in specific locations
The weather impacts exposed areas more harshly
When RAB map fabric or insulation to different areas of a garment, it’s like considering the different environments on a mountain
They choose specific fabrics or insulation weights to deal with the precise conditions at that location on the body
The result is a garment that responds effectively to body activity. Making it more efficient and comfortable to wear, specific to function and environment
