The Axion Pro Jacket is built from durable 100% recycled Pertex® Quantum Pro ripstop nylon with an ultra-thin water-resistant coating for increased resilience in changeable conditions
The 700FP, 100% recycled down has a Nikwax® hydrophobic treatment to keep you warmer and drier in a range of conditions
The helmet-compatible hood uses Stratus™ synthetic insulation for improved performance in the wet and is also removable for more casual everyday use.
Additional outdoor features include a double-ended YKK® Natulon zip, a pair of cosy, harness-compatible zipped hand pockets and fully adjustable cuffs and hem to help retain the warmth.
With midi-baffle stitch-through construction, full adjustability and high-level weatherproofing, the Axion Pro is a robust winter workhorse with all the features you need to keep the cold at bay.

P.U.R.E. recycled Down is a 100% sustainable and eco-friendly filling material.
Rab use GRS-certified P.U.R.E.® recycled down, that is sorted and graded in Italy before being delivered to them in Derbyshire to fill their jackets
P.U.R.E.® recycled down is currently the only down recycling company to be certified by the Global Recycling Standard
The team at P.U.R.E.® are experts at reclaiming down from post-consumer waste items like duvets and pillows
The reclaimed down is sterilised, cleaned, treated with Nikwax® hydrophobic treatment and graded into different qualities and fill powers resulting in the same insulation properties as virgin down.
Hydrophobic Down
This treatment significantly improves the performance of the down by preventing the clusters from absorbing moisture and helping it to retain its loft
In the event that the down does become waterlogged the treatment significantly decreases the time it takes the down to dry and its loft to recover
It’s worth noting that hydrophobic treatment means that a down jacket will perform better in wet conditions, but it’s not intended to make a garment waterproof
By combining a tightly woven face fabric with a microporous water-resistant coating, Pertex® Quantum Pro delivers increased weather resistance. whilst remaining lightweight, soft and breathable.
The increased weather resistance and durable construction means these fabrics are ideal for use in cold or damp environments where keeping warm and dry is crucial especially when the jacket also features hydrophobic down.
