Waterproof / Windproof / Recycled Materials / Versatile
Built with 100% recycled Pertex® Shield Revolve, this 3-layer waterproof jacket is durable, versatile and signals the next generation of lower impact outdoor gear
The Arc Eco is their first jacket to utilise 3-layer Pertex® Shield Revolve a waterproof and breathable fabric constructed from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester
This means the jacket’s face fabric, membrane and backer are made up of a single polymer which makes it much easier to recycle at the end of its life
This revolutionary construction reduces the impact of production and improves the chances of closing the loop on polyester’s life cycle
The Arc Eco has a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish to further boost waterproof performance
It features an adjustable mountain hood with a laminated peak and a fleece lined chin guard for comfort
It has a drawcord hem, anti-snag hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs and YKK® AquaGuard® zips throughout
Two easy access, A-line chest pockets will easily hold gloves or a map
Ideal for all outdoor activities and mountain adventures, this hard-wearing, recycled fabric waterproof jacket is a more sustainable choice

Pertex® Shield Revolve
Conventional waterproof breathable fabrics are constructed from multiple different polymer layers - nylon, polyurethane, polyester and fluoropolymers- laminated into a multi-material fabric.
These fabrics are very difficult to recycle at the end of the product’s life due to the major challenges of separating out the different polymers into their relevant waste streams.
Pertex® Shield Revolve™ fabrics are mono-material laminates, each layer of the fabric is made from a single polymer - recycled polyester
A face fabric woven from recycled polyester yarns combined with a waterproof breathable recycled polyester membrane and an optional recycled polyester backer
The mono-material composition means Pertex® Shield Revolve™ fabrics are much easier to recycle at the end of a garment’s life
This keeps the material in a closed-loop, minimising the waste of resources and reducing the overall environmental impact of the fabric

PFC-Free DWRs offer excellent water repellence but less oil/dirt repellence than PFC chemistries, and they require more regular reproofing to maintain performance
PFCs are perfluorinated compounds. They are used in a very wide variety of products including cosmetics, cookware, and textiles
Their use has come under increasing scrutiny because they accumulate in the body and do not readily degrade; their use is now restricted
