Info
Tested at an ambient temperature of 22°C (+/- 3°C). :
Brightness is measured when the lamp is turned on, using new batteries
Lighting distance depends directly on brightness, but mainly on the shape of the beam.
For example, 100 lumens of light will project to 40 metres with a very wide beam, but up to 100 metres with a focused beam.
The maximum distance is tha between the lamp and the location where only 0.25 lux of illumination remains. Measurement is done when the lamp is turned on, using new batteries.
These specifications may vary depending on usage conditions (battery quality, cold temperatures...).
Lamp performance with 3 AAA Duracell Batteries
When the lamp is turned on, it performs the same as with a rechargeable battery in terms of lumens and distance
However, during use of the lamp, the management of available energy varies depending on battery choice: rechargeable or standard
With the CORE battery (optonal extra), the brightness stays generally constant over the entire rated burn time
With standard batteries, brightness gradually decreases as the lamp is used
