We can’t believe 2022 is almost over. It’s been such a crazy year.
We want to wish you all a merry christmas and give a big thanks to everyone who’s supported us this year. Whether you’re a regular customer or just someone who interacts with our blog posts, we really want to thank you.
To get you all into the Christmas spirit, we’ve compiled a list of different outdoor winter activities that you can enjoy without having to fly to an expensive ski resort!
- Winter walks - Whether you’re on a date, walking your dog or with your whole family; winter walks are a good way to spend quality time with the people that you love and keep yourselves fit!
- Outdoor cooking - Don’t save this just for summer! There’s nothing more comforting than cooking some hot food under the stars. And for dessert; of course you’ve got to make some toasty smores!
- Sledding - Kids love this! Even if you don’t have the equipment, you can easily make a sled out of some scrap cardboard or plastic.
- Snowball fights - Always a classic, super fun and brings out everyone's competitive side.
- Ice skating - A lot of towns and cities have an ice rink around this time of year. Even if you’ve never done it before, it’s still a bunch of fun with the right company.
- Jumping in muddy puddles - Embrace your inner Peppa Pig and get some wellies on. This is more fun than you think!
- Build a snowman - People of all ages enjoy doing this. It’s so fun to work together and make snowmen. Or you could even turn it into a competition and see who builds the best one!
- Blow bubbles - This might sound crazy but it’s super fun to do when it’s cold as sometimes the bubbles turn into ice bubbles. Kids will love this!
- Make snow angels - A great activity that never gets old.
- Go fishing - It might be cold but this is a great time of the year to go fishing. Or, if the water’s frozen over, you could even try ice fishing!
