By using the site you agree to accept the terms and conditions listed in this section. A Contract between BAC Outdoor Leisure will exist with you the customer once an order has been accepted, processed, dispatched and received.


The prices, description and availability of all goods are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to alter prices/special offers at our own discretion. Errors may occur, where prices are incorrectly displayed or change, as a result of circumstances beyond our control. In those cases you will be informed prior to processing, of the correct/revised price and should you no longer wish to purchase the goods at that price, you can cancel that part or all of the order.

In addition to the price, you may be asked to pay a delivery charge for the goods.

Our website descriptions, images, weights and colours are those given to us by our manufactures / suppliers and are subject to change and are used for illustrative purposes only. Should you require any clarification, please phone the store, prior to ordering.

The weight of sleeping bags can vary by + or - 10%


Many of the sports for which we supply goods can be extremely hazardous by nature. BAC supplies goods on the assumption that the purchaser/user will be wearing the correct protective equipment. It must be understood that it is the individuals own responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques and safety procedures injury or death which may result from the use of the items sold, built or repaired by BAC, its Directors, employees or other representatives.


Due to the nature of our business, stock availability cannot be guaranteed. If your goods are not in stock, we will contact you immediately, before any money has been taken from your account/card. At this point you can decide whether or not to proceed with the purchase.


Simply browse the site, or use Quick Search, as some products may appear in two separate categories eg : Sunglasses. Having selected an item, use the “ad to cart” then proceed to further purchases in a similar manner. At the end, select “View Cart”, and check the contents. You will then be asked for details that we require to complete the purchase.

We accept all major credit cards, and use an extremely secure server. The processing of the order is by hand and shipment will be made to the address of the card holder only, unless other arrangements are made in writing.

A contract for purchase will exist between us when we send you an email with confirmation of goods along with any charges for shipping.

Payment for goods may be taken up to 24hrs prior to dispatching them.

Please make certain that someone will be at the delivery address, Monday – Friday, 8.00am to 6am, otherwise the carrier will leave a card through your door. After two delivery attempts, your parcel will be returned to us, which will result in a second charge to you for the delivery a second time.


Security is a concern for both the shopper and retailer, regarding online transactions. In reality it is probably more secure than that done in a shop, by phone or fax, as the information transmitted online is encrypted. Shoppers also have the security of protection from fraudulent use of their card in a “Cardholder not present” situation by their card issuers. The goods we dispatch will only be sent to the registered cardholders address. We also ask for a landline telephone number (not a mobile).

We will store email addresses unless you specifically ask us not to. These are used to inform you of Special Offers/Sales/Promotions etc. They are never passed to a third party.

We will pass on all details (email, address, credit card number etc) in the case of any fraudulent orders, to the relevant authority.


We are always happy to quote and supply non stock items at very competitive rates. Should you not find an item that you require in our site, please contact us, as if it is available, then we will obtain it for you. The purchase of non stock items will be classed as a firm sale and no refunds will be given unless the article is faulty.


Orders will be shipped to reach you within 3 working days (although often this quicker).
Orders received before 3pm will be dispatched that day, those received after 3pm. or on a weekend will be dispatched the next working day. (Excluding Bank or Public holidays). Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after acceptance, we cannot be held liable for any unavoidable delays in delivery. In this case we will inform you as soon as possible.

There may sometimes be offers of FREE P&P on all orders in the UK. Unfortunately this does not apply to the Highlands and Islands, N. Ireland and Overseas destinations. However, this offer is not always current, therefore delivery costs will apply. These are based upon size and weight and are charged at our cost price.

For orders outside the UK, please contact us first, to discuss delivery/costs etc.

Our FREE delivery service when applicable, takes up to 3+ days, and is a goodwill gesture.  Most of our charged goods arrive within 48hrs. Price is £4.00 for orders under £30.00. Free for orders above £30.00. Most items will be sent using Royal Mail. Larger / more expensive items will be sent, at our discretion, using FedEx UK's Next Day Delivery Service and must be signed for. Those to the Highlands and islands will incur a minimum £10.00 handling charge.

Any goods supplied by us that reach you with damaged packaging, should be signed for as such. Please try to inspect them in front of the deliverer if possible, but in any case you should notify us by phone immediately and subsequently in writing.


Before returning any goods to us for whatever reason, you must first contact us. We will issue you with a returns number so that we can ensure that your returns are dealt with efficiently. Without a returns number your goods will not be accepted. You must also include a letter stating the reason for the return and listing the returns number.

All new items being returned for whatever reason must be unused, with their original tags, wrappers, packaging still in place and free of makeup/marks, within 14 days of the transaction/invoice date, including the original receipt. Once received, we will offer an exchange at no cost to yourself or full refund if required. Any soiled or worn clothing/articles will not be exchanged or refunded. Your statutory rights are not affected by these conditions.

Any goods being returned for inspection/guarantee purposes must be cleaned and free of any dirt under the Health and Safety Regulations regarding such circumstances.

You will be required to pay the postage when returning the goods to us. Please note, that all postage costs are non refundable. Products must be properly packaged with the returns number showing clearly and sent prepaid to ;

Please include your name and address, daytime telephone number, a copy of the receipt and a letter explaining why you are returning it and what you would like us to do; refund or exchange or forward for examination. With all returns, we reserve the right not to refund any item returned not in a new condition or after 14 days from that on the receipt.
